The Business Idea Competition - Phase II

AUGUST - DECEMBER 2010

This phase of the Competition requires participants to submit an Executive Summary of their Business Idea and/or Business Concept.

The Executive Summary includes seven (7) elements that require in-depth analysis and planning:

1. The Company and Product/Service proposed

2. Industry, Target Market and Customers

3. Competitive Landscape and Positioning

4. Execution

5. Team

6. Risk Analysis

7. Financial Model and Financing Requirements

The Business Plan Competition (Phase II) starts on August 2, 2010.

To participate you must egister and submit your Executive Summary before September 28th, 2010.

Incentives for this phase include:

  • $50k Cash Award that will be divided among winners as follow:

> 1st Place / $25k

> 2nd Place / $15k

> 3rd Place / $10k

  • In addition, in-kind business services will be awarded to the winners as provided by our sponsors

There is no doubt, students have amazing business ideas. EnterPRize is looking for those future entrepreneurs who wish to, in near or distant future, establish their own business or that are simply curious about the field of entrepreneurship.

EnterPRize is proud to help those “Entrepreneurs In Progress” to develop their business idea into a real and successful business company.

You just need a business idea to step in the 2010 Business Idea Competition launching on March 2, 2010.

The Business Idea Competition includes five (5) elements that require in-depth analysis and planning:

1. The Company and Product/Service proposed

2. Industry, Target Market and Customers

3. Competitive Landscape and Positioning

4. Execution

5. Team

Other incentives include: (a) $10k in Cash Prizes and (b) an Internship Opportunity Award for the 6 best business ideas submitted by students.

How good is your company? What do you need to take it further? Who do you need in your team to make it happen?...Being able to answer these questions is just part of the reward you will get by participating.

To participate you must register online and submit your Business Idea before April 28th, 2010.

2010 Entrepreneurs In Progress

The "Entrepreneur In Progress" Internship Award is given to the college students that participates in the Business Idea Competition (Phase I). The Competition selects the Top 6 Business Ideas submitted by the students and gives them the opportunity to be part of an Internship in 4 Host Companies during the month of June. EnterPRize invites all students who wish in to in the near or distant future establish their own business or are curious about the field of entrepreneurship to participate in the Business Plan Competition (Phase I & II) and start the entrepreneurial journey!

2010 Special Workshop for Students!

"Kickstart your Entrepreneurial Career"

The 2010 Kick-offs will be announced on August.

This workshop is designed to provide students with the tools needed to "kickstart" their desire to become an entrepreneur and will help them distinguish between an idea and a real business opportunity. It will provide future entrepreneurs with an outline of those fundamental elements comprised in a business opportunity and the key success factors that could increase the possibilities of starting a successful venture.
